A Rare Case of a #Non-Hodgkin'sLymphoma Presented As a Single #BoneLesion by Gregory Tsoucalas in BJSTR

Abstract

Primary #bonelymphoma depicts a 1-2% of adult #non-Hodgkinlymphomas. We report a rare case of a single bone lesion in a 28 years old female patient with her left femur afflicted. Our case aims to alert physicians upon a simple gait disturbance and mild #kneepain. #Hematologicalmalignancies present a clinical spectrum of #symptomatology which ranges from no focal skeleton lesions in #leukaemia to numerous lytic lesions in multiple #myeloma. Reports of a primary bone lymphoma (PBL) are rather rare, accounting for less than 1-2% of adult non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) [1], commonly affecting mainly #femur, as well as spine and pelvis, causing dominantly localized bone pain [2]. We report a 28 years old female patient with NHL, presented as a single primary bone lesion on her left femur.
