First Case Report of Human Granulocytic Anaplasmosis In Mexico With #Serological and Molecular Evidence by Carolina G Sosa Gutierrez in BJSTR

Abstract

#HumanGranulocyticAnaplasmosis in a tick-borne #rickettsialdisease casused by Anaplasma phagocytophilum, and transmited by Ixodes scapularis tick. Since the first recognition in 1990 in United States, theres no evidence of human cases in Mexico dispited the vector and reservoirs are reported already. We report the first case of Human Granulocytic Anaplasmosis in Mexico with #serological and molecular evidence.
