Abstract

The study identified and compared the prevalence and intensity of parasites of sea bream (#Sparus auratus) and sea bass (#Dicentrarchus labrax L.) from #culture environments during different season. One hundred and twenty samples from each of sea bream and sea bass (30 from each type of fish per season) were collected and gross observations were carried out to check for physical abnormalities and presence and identification of parasites as well as another 20 apparently healthy samples from each of #sea bream and #sea bass. The water samples were also collected to evaluate the different water quality. The samples were dissected and the skin and gills were examined for parasites presence, prevalence and intensity.
